Psychological Assessments

Sometimes the first step forward is understanding what is going on.

At Summit Psychology Wagga Wagga, we provide psychological assessments for children, adolescents and adults. Assessments can help identify strengths, understand areas of difficulty, explore possible diagnoses and determine what support may be helpful.

How It Works

Initial Appointment

We start with a conversation about your concerns, history and what you are hoping to understand. This helps your psychologist determine which assessments are appropriate and develop an individual assessment plan.

Assessment Sessions

Your assessment may include psychological testing, questionnaires, interviews and observations. Where helpful, and with consent, information may also be gathered from family members, schools or other professionals.

Results

Your psychologist will review all of the information collected to develop a clear understanding of your individual profile. We will then meet with you to explain the results, answer questions and discuss what they mean in everyday life.

Moving Forward

Where included, you will receive a written report outlining the findings and practical recommendations. Our focus is not simply on identifying difficulties, but on providing a clearer path forward and helping people reach their potential.
